The main role of the Director Board of Trustee are as follows:
Director Board of Trustee is a Director of a non-profit organization (NPO) such as a Welfare Trust, charity or university. Member of the board are appointed (not elected) to set the policies of the welfare organization, and appoint (and fire) by senior management personnel. Under the doctrine of collective responsibility, Director Board of Trustee is liable for the financial and other consequences of the welfare organization’s activities.
Duties and Responsibilities of the Director Board of Trustee:
- Providing leadership to the (NPO) non-profit organization, “Safoora Haider” Welfare Trust.
- Taking responsibility for the board’s composition and development of Welfare Trust.
- Ensuring proper information for the Board of Directors of (NPO) Welfare Trust Organization.
- Planning and conducting board meetings effectively regarding Welfare Trust.
- Getting all the directors involved in the welfare trust’s work
- Ensuring the board focuses on its key tasks in Welfare Trust
- Engaging the board in assessing and improving its performance regarding welfare trust.
- Overseeing the induction and development of welfare trust.
- Supporting the welfare trust members & staff.
- Director has authority to appoint/dismiss any person for Welfare Trust
